or decades, the Transformers franchise has seen the Autobots and Decepticons wage their battle against each other in various environments. Now, a select few Cybertronians are trading in the battlefield for the football field with new licensed gridiron goodies.
The second wave of the NFL x Transformers action figures has been revealed, with this including three new toys based on different teams. As in the previous release, these transform into football helmets, with each robot decked out in the colors of their respective football team. Pre-orders for these toys are now open, with the action figure season expected to kick off this summer.
Transformers Is More than Meets the End Zone With New Hasbro Action Figure Reveal

NFL x Transformers Wave 2 is the latest set of collaborative action figures from Hasbro, with these three toys representing three different NFL teams than those seen in the previous selection. The characters this time are Skolgrin, Goldrush and Blizz-Herd, who represent the Minnesota Vikings, the San Francisco 49ers and the Buffalo Bills, respectively. All three are Autobots, with the faction symbol seen prominently on their alternate modes and on their chests in robot mode.
As noted, they transform from robots into football helmets for their particular teams, with their robot modes also featuring football helmet designs on their heads. These mini helmets can be worn or held in their hands, and the latter action can also be done with the miniature football that the toys come with.
Featuring extensive articulation to emulate athletic posing, the trio each transforms in about 23 steps and stand at roughly 5 .5 inches in robot mode. This makes them roughly about the same size as a Deluxe Class figure, allowing them to blend in with other figures in the Transformers franchise.

These figures, along with the other NFL x Transformers toys, can now be pre-ordered through online venues such as Amazon. They're priced at $29.99 -- furthering how close they are to Deluxe Class toys -- but while some sites have them listed as releasing sometime in July 2026, Amazon currently lists this release date as Aug. 1, 2026.
It's unknown how many more of these figures will be produced, with the first wave only now becoming widely available via most retailers. Besides the NFL, Transformers has crossed over and had toys with several other brands, including major anime properties such as Naruto and Sega's video game icon Sonic the Hedgehog.
