The Marvels Gets Final Trailer Teasing a Reality-Bending Adventure

Your Nerd Side Halloween Special Part 01 and 02

First premiering during Monday Night Football, the new trailer is now available to watch online. It provides one last sneak peek at the Marvel Studios film days ahead of its theatrical release on Nov. 10. The trailer for the film, which stars Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Iman Vellani as Ms. Marvel, and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, can be viewed below.

In The Marvels, per the official synopsis, "Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan, Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol's estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team-up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as The Marvels."

Along with Larson, Vellani, and Parris, The Marvels also stars Zawe Ashton, Gary Lewis, Park Seo-joon, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, and Samuel L. Jackson. Nia DaCosta directed the film, which she also co-wrote with Megan McDonnell, Elissa Karasik, and Zeb Wells. Kevin Feige produced while executive producers included Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Mary Livanos, Jonathan Schwartz, and Matthew Jenkins.

Carol Finds Family in The Marvels

DaCosta recently spoke about the emotional family theme that's a part of the story. Larson's Carol Danvers has been isolated after the events of the first Captain Marvel film, but she learns the importance of having people by her side in The Marvels.

"It was so important to me that we do that for her," DaCosta said "The first movie was so beautiful because you see this family that she's lost, and now in this movie, you kind of see how she's isolated herself from family. But family is so important to help any of us get anything done and feel supported and [like we] can take on the world. I really wanted to be able to see that, and who she was, in this film."

Fans will see what DaCosta means by that exactly when The Marvels is on the big screen. The Marvels will be released in movie theaters on Nov. 10, 2023.
