Silent Hill fans are set to get a brand-new ending to the franchise's latest release from the game's original creator. Silent Hill f is receiving a special manga adaptation that's already teasing some important story changes.
The monthly Japanese seinen manga magazine Young Ace UP shared the exciting news on X (formerly Twitter). "Starting serialization from April 22," their post reads, adding: "Look forward to the 'new ending' of the hugely popular psychological horror, as depicted in its comic adaptation." Along with the post comes an image of the game's protagonist, Hinako Shimizu, in the adaptation's new manga art style.
New Silent Hill f Manga Promises Brand-New Story Ending for Fans

The comic adaptation is written by acclaimed writer Ryukishi07, who also wrote the story for the game. Art is being handled by Alloy Ame. The exact details about just how far the manga's story will change in comparison to its video game counterpart remain under wraps for now.
While it may be some time before the brand-new ending to Silent Hill f sees the light of day, fans can be certain that it'll be quite different to the rest of the iconic horror franchise's stories. The survival horror game was originally released by Konami in 2025 and marked the franchise's first mainline entry to be set entirely in Japan.
Its story takes place in the quiet town of Ebisu-ga-oka, inspired by the real-world Kinkotsu area in Japan's Gifu Prefecture. When the town becomes consumed by a mysterious fog, the game's young protagonist sets to work navigating the world around her, solving puzzles and fighting terrifying monsters in order to survive.
The game was released on PlayStation 5, Windows and Xbox Series X/S on Sept. 25, 2025,and was generally well received by fans. Its success saw it sell over one million copies on the first day after going on sale -- meaning it quickly became the fastest-selling entry of the entire series.
Silent Hill f's New Manga Series Follows a Successful Novelization

Fans may have already beaten the video game's story in the months following Silent Hill f's release, but Young Ace UP's manga adaptation promises that there's plenty more of Hinako Shimizu's story that's still been left unexplored. The manga version marks the second adaptation of the game's story, following a novelization that was released last October.
The Silent Hill f novel was written by Shiro Kuro and received a timely release on Oct. 30 for the Halloween season. Because the video game was designed to be played multiple times in order to fully understand the story, Kuro adapted the game and its multiple cutscenes, arranging everything into a single narrative. It remains to be seen just how the manga will follow suit and tell a linear story, but with Ryukishi07 at the helm, it may end up being the most definitive adaptation to date.
