Overall Rating (Critics)
4 / 5 stars (strong positive reviews)
Critics have called it “Pixar’s best film in years” and a “return to form” for the studio.
It currently sits around 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, one of Pixar’s highest scores in nearly a decade.

The story follows Mabel Tanaka, a passionate young environmentalist who discovers a technology that lets humans “hop” their consciousness into robotic animals to communicate with wildlife.
She uses the technology to inhabit a robotic beaver and enters the animal world to protect a forest ecosystem from a corrupt mayor planning destructive development.
Along the way she encounters a quirky animal society—including a beaver king and insect royalty—leading to a wild adventure about nature, empathy, and cooperation.
👎 Criticisms
Some reviewers note a few weaknesses:
The main character arc isn’t as emotionally powerful as Pixar classics like Finding Nemo.
The plot can become chaotic or overly packed with ideas.
Fonseca asks you?
Should You See It?
Yes — especially if you like:
Pixar originals (not sequels)
clever animal-world stories
family movies with meaningful themes
The film is PG, about 105 minutes, and considered good for families and adults.

Bottom Line:
Hoppers is a funny, imaginative Pixar comeback with strong environmental themes and inventive storytelling. While not quite the emotional peak of Inside Out or Coco, it’s widely viewed as one of Pixar’s most creative originals in years. See it if you wan to get out it's good
