Milly Alcock will remain a major part of the DC Universe after Supergirl. The actor's next appearance in the shared universe has just been revealed.
Variety's cover story interview with Alcock revealed that the actor would be heading to Atlanta soon to begin filming Man of Tomorrow. "She’s a major part of what we’re doing," teased DC Studios co-CEO Peter Safran. Man of Tomorrow will mark Alcock's third appearance in the DCU, after Superman and Supergirl.
Supergirl Flies Back to the Big Screen
Supergirl is inspired by Tom King's 2022 comic book series Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, which follows a 21-year-old Kara Zor-El as she travels across the galaxy with Krypto, during which she meets a young girl named Ruthye and goes on a murderous quest for revenge. Ana Nogueira adapted the comic for the big screen.
Alcock headlines Supergirl as its titular heroine, with the supporting cast including Eve Ridley as Ruthye Marye Knoll, David Krumholtz as Supergirl's father Zor-El, and Emily Beecham as Supergirl's mother Alura In-Ze. Matthias Schoenaerts will portray the movie's main antagonist, Krem of the Yellow Hills. Jason Momoa, who played the DCEU's Aquaman, will also appear as the alien mercenary/bounty hunter Lobo.
Supergirl will be the first of three projects set in the DCU that will be released in 2026. Two months after the movie's release, HBO will premiere Lanterns. The upcoming True Detective-inspired superhero show will be based on the Green Lantern Corps, starring Kyle Chandler as Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre as John Stewart.
Then, in October, the DCU's first R-rated horror movie, Clayface, will hit theaters. The movie boasts a screenplay by acclaimed horror filmmaker Mike Flanagan, with Tom Rhys Harries starring as actor Matt Hagen, who is transformed into a being made of clay after turning to a scientist to repair his disfigured face.
Man of Tomorrow Set to Be Another Superpowered Team Up Movie

Man of Tomorrow will serve as a sequel to last year's Superman, with James Gunn returning as writer and director. David Corenswet and Nicholas Hoult would co-lead the movie as Clark Kent/Superman and Lex Luthor, respectively. Rachel Brosnahan, Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, Frank Grillo, Isabela Merced, and María Gabriela de Faría are set to reprise their roles from Superman as Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, Eve Teschmacher, Rick Flag Sr., Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl, and Angela Spica/The Engineer, respectively.
Aaron Pierre is also part of the Man of Tomorrow cast. He will reprise his role of John Stewart/Green Lantern, in what will serve as his second appearance in the DCU after the upcoming HBO series Lanterns.
Lars Eidinger has been cast as the film's antagonist, Brainiac, while Adria Arjona is believed to be playing Maxima (although some rumors have her as Wonder Woman). Andre Royo, Matthew Lillard, and Sinqua Walls have also been cast in undisclosed roles.
Supergirl will arrive in theaters on June 26.
