Marvel Studios Releases First Eternals Trailer

Marvel Studios released the first trailer for Eternals.

The trailer kicks off on a beach setting as a massive alien ship emerges from the sky. Aboard the ship, we see Ikaris and Sersi admiring the beauty before them. "We have watched, and guided," Sersi says. "We have helped them progress and seen them accomplish wonders," she continues, as we see the Eternals attempting to blend in on modern-day Earth. "Throughout the years, we have never interfered. Until now."

Announced in 2018, Eternals is based on Jack Kirby's race of immortal Marvel heroes who'll come together to fight the Deviants. The film was previously scheduled to release on November 2020 but was pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Marvel Studios' Eternals features an exciting new team of Super Heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years. While the Deviants have hidden underground, the Eternals have lived secretly among humanity for millennia.

Directed by Chloé Zhao from a screenplay by Matthew and Ryan Firpo, Eternals stars Gemma Chan as Sersi, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Angelina Jolie as Thena, Barry Keoghan as Druig and Kit Harington as Dane Whitman/Black Knight. The film arrives in theaters Nov. 5.
