The Fantastic Four: First Steps is easily one of Marvel Studios' strongest crowd-pleasers. Now, fans can stream it at home.

Fans have been proud to call director Matt Shakman's critically acclaimed adventure (earning an 87% Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes) the first time Hollywood has depicted Marvel Comics' iconic superhero family in the right light. For added perspective, this follows multiple lackluster and even infamous attempts at bringing Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's beloved creations to the big screen. A great deal of the credit goes to the talented cast, including the always wonderful Pedro Pascal as Reed "Mr. Fantastic" Richards; Vanessa Kirby giving one of 2025's best comic book movie performances as Susan "Invisible Woman" Richards; Joseph Quinn, delivering an impressive balance of smugness and charm as Sue's brother, Johnny "Human Torch" Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach beautifully portraying the heart beneath Ben "The Thing" Grimm's rock-solid skin.

The story of the heroes' struggle to protect the Earth and the newest member of their family, Reed and Sue's son, Franklin, from the planet-consuming Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his mysterious accomplice, referred to as the Silver Surfer (Julia Garner), has been praised as a near-perfect and emotionally heartfelt superhero movie worth repeat viewings. Those who have been burning to relive this adventure, or to finally experience it for the first time, can now do so from home as The Fantastic Four: First Steps is officially available to watch on digital.

As of Sept. 23., The Fantastic Four: First Steps can now be accessed on most video-on-demand streaming platforms, such as Amazon Prime Video or Apple TV+, for instance. Of course, as usual these days, the film does cost about double a movie ticket to watch, whether a viewer chooses to see it just once or opts to keep it in their virtual library permanently. A digital rental of the film is priced at $24.99, with an expiration of 30 days from the moment of purchase to hit play and 48 hours to finish, but can also be purchased for just $5 more.

For champions of physical media, The Fantastic Four: First Steps is slated to arrive on Blu-ray, 4K UHD and DVD the following month, on Oct. 14, to be exact. That purchase will also come with a treasure trove of special features, including a few behind-the-scenes featurettes and even a gag reel.

Understandably, there are probably quite a few audiences who would rather wait until The Fantastic Four: First Steps becomes available with a Disney+ subscription. No Disney+ release date has been confirmed, but the streaming service is home to the previous, theatrically released films starring the superhero family, namely 2005's Fantastic Four, its 2007 sequel, Rise of the Silver Surfer, and Josh Trank's darker, 2015 interpretation. Those seeking the '90s Fantastic Four movie that was never released officially should be able to find it on YouTube.

While The Fantastic Four: First Steps has the honor of being the highest-grossing Marvel movie of 2025, it is not out of the realm of possibility, and perfectly reasonable, that not every fan of the beloved comic book characters made it out to the local cineplex during its nearly month-long run in theaters. Thankfully, the option to witness the fantastic fun from home is available.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is now streaming on Apple TV+ and Amazon Prime Video.
