Hot Toys Unveils Stunning New Obi-Wan Kenobi Sixth-Scale Figure

Star Wars collectors can now celebrate one of Obi-Wan Kenobi’s most memorable eras with an impressive new figure from Hot Toys and Sideshow Collectibles.

Inspired by Ewan McGregor’s appearance in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, the new Obi-Wan Kenobi Sixth-Scale Collectible Figure recreates the Jedi Master with detailed costuming, accessories and an exceptionally realistic portrait.

The figure is available in two versions. The Collector Edition is priced at $285, while the premium Artisan Edition costs $420.

Both editions include an extensive collection of accessories, such as a courier droid, a communicator, several lightsaber hilts, interchangeable lightsaber blades, multiple hand options and carefully tailored Jedi clothing. The lightsaber accessories include both standard blades and motion-effect versions designed to recreate Obi-Wan’s battle scenes.

The figure’s head sculpt is modeled after McGregor and features individually adjustable eyes, realistic facial detailing and intricately sculpted hair. Hot Toys designed the collectible to capture Obi-Wan during his investigation into the mysterious Clone Army and his confrontations with Jango Fett and Count Dooku.

In Attack of the Clones, Obi-Wan serves as Anakin Skywalker’s mentor while investigating an assassination attempt against Senator Padmé Amidala. His search eventually leads him to Kamino, where he discovers the secret creation of the Clone Army and uncovers a larger conspiracy threatening the Republic.

McGregor first appeared as the younger Obi-Wan in 1999’s Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, taking over the role originally made famous by Alec Guinness. He returned for Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, while also contributing brief voice appearances to The Force Awakens and The Rise of Skywalker.

McGregor later returned to the role in Disney+’s six-episode Obi-Wan Kenobi limited series, which took place between the events of the prequel and original trilogies. He also served as an executive producer on the show.

With its realistic Ewan McGregor likeness, detailed Jedi wardrobe and large assortment of accessories, the new Hot Toys release should be especially appealing to collectors building a display based on the Star Wars prequel era.
