Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom director James Wan shared a rather frigid behind-the-scenes photo as filming for the upcoming DC Extended Universe sequel begins.
The ominous photo sees a lone clapperboard in an icy cave, which seems to tease one of the new locales that will be explored in the sequel. "Day One," Wan wrote, along with an Aquaman 2 hashtag.
Little is known about the plot of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, the title was of which was recently confirmed by Wan himself. However, as the name implies, it will seemingly center on the enigmatic seventh kingdom mentioned in the first Aquaman movie. Wan also teased that the sequel will include more horror elements.
