Marvel Comics is about to drop some truly stunning Star Wars variant covers in celebration of Pride Month.

A set of three connecting variant covers for some of the hottest Star Wars comics of the year has been unveiled, and they are easily among the best celebrations of Pride in the Galaxy Far, Far Away that fans have ever seen. The three covers, all illustrated by fan-favorite artist Rickie Yagawa, come together to feature a lineup of some of the most beloved and iconic queer characters to ever grace the Star Wars franchise.

Marvel Comics' Star Wars Pride Covers are Absolutely Perfect

These connecting Pride covers will be available throughout the month of June. The first arrives when Star Wars: Rogue One — Jyn Erso #1 by Ethan Sacks and Ramón Rosanas arrives in stores on June 3. The second and third connecting covers for Star Wars: Shadow of Maul #4 by Benjamin Percy and Madibek Musabekov and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge — Echoes of the Empire #3 by Ethan Sacks, Jethro Morales, and Roi Mercado will be released on June 10 and June 24, respectively.

Artist Rickie Yagawa said of the project, "It was a privilege to participate in this project! One of the things I love most about the Star Wars galaxy is the diversity of characters found throughout its long history. This was a really cool and special experience for me."

Yagawa's connecting covers feature over a dozen Star Wars mainstays from across the franchise and its multitude of media. Among those shown are Vildar Mac, Terec and Ceret, Mother Aniseya, Mother Koril, Tey Sirrek, Cinta Kaz, Vel Sarth, Sabé, Doctor Aphra, Just Lucky, Ariole Yu, Larma D'Arcy, Wrobie Tyce, Rae Sloane, Losha, T'Onga, and Sana Starros.

These new Star Wars covers are very much crafted in the same general vein as Marvel Comics' long-running line of Marvel Voices titles. While the three Star Wars comics in question won't be taking on the same themes or subject matter as Marvel Voices, there is no denying that they convey the same sense of support in Pride as the hit line of annual releases continues to do year after year.

That being said, each of the Star Wars titles that are receiving Pride covers will still be pulse-pounding affairs in and of themselves. Star Wars: Rogue One — Jyn Erso #1 will follow its titular freedom fighter as she attempts to make a brazen, seemingly impossible escape from her imperial prison, whereas Star Wars: Shadow of Maul #4 will drop its leading cast into the middle of a treacherous podrace through the streets of Janix.

Finally, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge — Echoes of the Empire #3 will continue to introduce entirely new elements to the overarching Star Wars narrative. In fact, the series' very first issue has already done just that by giving Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett the long-overdue rematch that fans of the franchise never knew they had in the first place.
