Hulu is inviting King of the Hill fans back to Arlen. After the hit animated series returned with new episodes last year, it's now been given an official premiere date for its next season.
King of the Hill is officially set to return to Hulu on July 20, 2026, about one year after the series was revived. This will mark the 15th season overall, and the second season of the revival. All 10 episodes of Season 15 will be released simultaneously, giving fans the chance to binge-watch them all rather than waiting weekly for new episodes. A new poster has also been unveiled featuring Hank and friends in their favorite drinking spot in the alley, which can be viewed below.

The official logline for the new season reads, “Hank and Peggy settle into retirement life on Rainey Street while attempting to keep their neighbors from going off the rails. Bobby navigates old friendships while dealing with the stresses of being an entrepreneur.”
The new poster also seems to provide some hints about storylines explored in the new season. This includes Hank wearing a Strickland Propane jacket and holding a leash; Bill clutching a potted plant with a ragged cow plush on the ground beside him; Dale holding caged rats as well as a magnet for his Alamo beer can; Boomhauer surrounded by chickens; Peggy cooling herself with a portable fan; Kahn peering over the fence with a menacing look; and the Texas State Fair mascot, Big Tex, seen behind the trees in the background.
King of the Hill was met with incredible success upon its return last year. It pulled in 1.21 billion minutes of viewing time in its first week on Hulu and Disney+. The revival's first season also had the best-ever premiere for an adult animated series on Hulu and Disney+ in five years with 4.4 million views garnered worldwide in one week. Additionally, it was very well received, scoring a near-perfect rating of 98% on Rotten Tomatoes. It was no surprise when Hulu put in the order for another two seasons last fall, the first of which is arriving in July.
Series co-creator Mike Judge returns as the voice of Hank Hill and Boomhauer, joined by Kathy Najimy as Peggy, Stephen Root as Bill Dauterive, Pamela Adlon as Bobby Hill, and Lauren Tom as Connie and Minh. Johnny Hardwick and Jonathan Joss also returned for the first season of the revival, providing their final performances in their respective roles as Dale Gribble and John Redcorn. Both actors have since died, leading to Toby Huss, who previously voiced Cotton Hill and Kahn in the original show, taking over as Dale.
King of the Hill returns with its next season on July 20, 2026.
