Hocus Pocus 3 is officially in the works.
That’s right — more than 30 years after the original Hocus Pocus, and four years after Hocus Pocus 2, Disney is bringing the Sanderson sisters back again.
And yes — the full trio is returning.

Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy are all set to reprise their iconic roles.
Now here’s the big shift — unlike the second film, this one is being planned for a full theatrical release. So we’re talking big screen witches this time.
Right now, the movie is in early development, so no official plot details yet… but there’s already speculation about whether fan-favorite characters from the original — like Max, Dani, and Allison — could finally return.
Quick refresher — the original Hocus Pocus dropped back in 1993, didn’t crush at the box office… but became a Halloween cult classic thanks to years of TV replays.

Then Hocus Pocus 2 hit streaming and exploded — becoming one of Disney+’s most-watched premieres and even pulling in Emmy nominations.
And here’s something to watch — Midler has already said the script she read was “brilliant”… but the project still has some logistical hurdles before cameras roll.
Bottom line — the Sanderson sisters aren’t done yet.
No release date has been announced… but if this lands in theaters around Halloween?
Yeah — that’s going to be must-watch.
Stay with Your Nerd Side — we’ll keep you locked in as this one develops.
