Following the release of *Spider-Man: Brand New Day*, attention is already turning toward what could be Tom Holland’s fifth solo Spider-Man movie. Tom Holland and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige have both discussed plans for Spider-Man’s future, but Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have not yet announced an official title, release date, full cast or storyline for Spider-Man 5. That leaves some huge questions: Will Peter Parker continue on the path established in *Brand New Day*? Could characters such as MJ, Ned, Jean Grey, Hulk or Punisher return? Will Miles Morales finally enter Peter Parker’s live-action story? And how could Spider-Man’s future connect to the larger MCU? For now, those possibilities remain speculation until Marvel Studios or Sony makes them official. Now the BIG question is: WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? **Marvel’s Wolverine Is Almost Here! Everything We Know About the PS5 Game** SNIKT! Wolverine is finally getting a major new solo video game — and this one looks much darker and more brutal than Insomniac’s Spider-Man series. *Marvel’s Wolverine* is being developed by **Insomniac Games** in collaboration with **Marvel Games** and PlayStation Studios. The game is scheduled to launch **September 15, 2026, exclusively on PlayStation 5**. This is an original Wolverine story centered on Logan after he has walked away from Team X. When mutants begin disappearing, Wolverine is pulled back into action and discovers that **Bolivar Trask and the Reavers** are targeting mutants. Logan’s journey will take players through locations including **Canada, Tokyo and Madripoor** as he uncovers secrets from his own past and fights to protect mutantkind. The game is also bringing some major Marvel characters into the story, including: * Jean Grey * Bolivar Trask * Omega Red * Deathstrike * The Reavers * The Hand And Insomniac has also teased the possible appearance of one of Wolverine’s greatest enemies — **Sabretooth**. Unlike Insomniac’s Spider-Man games, *Marvel’s Wolverine* is **not an open-world game**. It is a focused, single-player, story-driven action adventure. And Logan definitely doesn’t fight like Spider-Man. Wolverine can stalk enemies, launch brutal surprise attacks, use his claws in close combat and unleash powerful special techniques. His legendary **Healing Factor** helps him recover from injuries, while building his Rage meter can send Logan into an even more dangerous state. The game has earned an **M for Mature** rating, making this a much more violent Marvel experience than Insomniac’s Spider-Man titles. Wolverine also has a long history in gaming. Fans may remember: **X2: Wolverine’s Revenge** from 2003, which featured Mark Hamill as the voice of Wolverine. And the fan-favorite **X-Men Origins: Wolverine** game from 2009, developed by Raven Software and released alongside the Hugh Jackman movie. Now Insomniac Games — the studio behind *Marvel’s Spider-Man*, *Spider-Man: Miles Morales* and *Marvel’s Spider-Man 2* — gets its chance to create a Wolverine adventure for a new generation. FUN FACT: Wolverine’s new voice actor is **Liam McIntyre**, while **Krizia Bajos voices Jean Grey**. There is even an official prequel comic written by the game’s Narrative Director Walt Williams that explores Logan’s history with Team X before the events of the game. And the Wolverine excitement doesn’t stop with the game. PlayStation has also revealed a special **Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition PS5 Digital Edition console and DualSense controller**, with pre-orders beginning August 19. *Marvel’s Wolverine* arrives **September 15, 2026 on PlayStation 5**.
