Tom Holland Says One of No Way Home's Spider-Man Actors Has a Fake Butt in Their Suit

The junk in one of No Way Home's Spider-Man trunks was apparently fake.

"I’ll give you a spoiler, and I’m not going to tell you who, but one of us has a fake ass in their suit," Tom Holland said on Late Night With Seth Meyers. "You can figure out that for yourselves."

While Holland's lips remained webbed as to which Spidey had a faux fanny, it's worth noting Holland himself is a gifted athlete with a background in acrobatics and gymnastics. It was also reported in November 2021 that over the course of his tenure as the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Spider-Man, Holland required less and less muscle padding in his suits.

Holland was joined in No Way Home by returning Peter Parker actors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, who played the web-slinger in the Spider-Man trilogy and the Amazing Spider-Man film series, respectively. Their returns were some of the closest-guarded secrets in the history of the MCU, with neither Marvel Studios nor Sony Pictures giving fans an inkling of confirmation about their roles, despite numerous leaks.

Even two months after No Way Home's theatrical release, the three Spider-Man actors still keep in touch with a group chat. "Every now and then, there was someone would blow it up and then we'll chat for an hour or two and then it always ends with love you guys and we'll be off," Holland recently explained. "And then a couple weeks later, they'll text back after we've broken yet another record. And it's like, 'Can you believe this is happening?' So, it's been a lot of fun getting to know those guys and I've really, really enjoyed it."

As for the future, it's unclear what's in store for Holland, Maguire and Garfield's Spider-Men, but Holland is hopeful for another team-up. "It was one of those things -- it was an idea for a long time and an idea that always seemed impossible," he said. "Could it happen? Of course it could happen. We've done it once before. Will it happen? I don't know."

Spider-Man: No Way Home is now in theaters.
